Loving the World

We are a people who know we are loved unconditionally by God and have been forever changed by Jesus Christ's love and sacrifice. We are a church who loves one another and reaches out to our community and into the world to share the love of God

Core Beliefs

The Bible is the Word of God

We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible Word of God, our only written guide for doctrine, rebuke, correction and instruction.

God is the Trinity

We believe the Godhead consists of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, a Tri-Unity.

Sanctification is an ongoing work of the Holy Spirit

We believe in sanctification, the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in the Life of the believer, producing a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord.

Marriage is between one man and one woman

We believe that marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment, and a sacred institution established by God.

Salvation is only through Jesus Christ

We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ, in His atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, and in salvation exclusively through His redeeming blood.

Salvation is by grace alone

We believe salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Salvation is God's free gift to us. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works; only by trusting in Jesus Christ and His death on the cross on our behalf can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.

Life is significant from conception to grave

We believe that since mankind is created in God's image, human life is of inestimable worth and significant in all of it's dimensions from conception to the grave.

Divine healing is the privilege of all believers

We believe that divine healing is the privilege of all believers, provided for us in Christ's atonement.

The Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to the Church.

Every believer has one or more spiritual gifts. 1 Corinthians 12:7

Several specific gifts are mentioned in the New Testament: apostleship, evangelism, pastors, teaching, prophecy, exhortation, wisdom, knowledge, serving, helps, leadership, administration, giving, ,mercy, discerning of spirits, faith, hospitality, tongues, interpretation of tongues, miracles and healing.

The Holy Spirit determines which gifts He wants us to have.

We not only have different gifts, but we are called to serve in different ways with the different strengths.

What about communion?

Communion is offered once a month. You don’t have to be a church member to participate; we only ask that you have already made a decision to follow Jesus Christ. If you have any questions about what it means to follow Jesus and recieve the salvation He offers, don't hesitate to call the church office.

Spiritual gifts are for today

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit according to Acts 2:4, and in the present manifestation of the gifts of the Spirit.

Jesus will return to earth to judge and establish His kingdom

We believe in Christ's soon literal return to the earth in power and great glory, and the subsequent judgment of all men. The righteous will be established in His eternal kingdom.

Water baptism & communion should be part of every believer's life

We practice the sacraments of water baptism by immersion, and the Lord's Supper until the time of Christ's return. They are not a means of salvation, but are channels of God's sanctifying grace and blessing to the faithful in Christ Jesus.
